While World War I looms on the national stage, in small-town Prescott, Arizona, a young reporter, Avis Meacham, is trying to finish and print the Sunday edition of the Prescott Chronicle when one of their team members is murdered. When the victim’s wealthy father threatens to shut down the Chronicle if his son’s killer isn’t found, Avis finds herself investigating murder. Determined to protect her Uncle Ned’s newspaper, Avis, with the help of handsome young photographer, Jeremy Rios, discovers more than a few suspects as well as a shady past on the part of their dead printer. Can Avis find the man’s killer and bring justice without tearing their small community apart?
